Solstici is the second album by GRIP, a Doom band formed in early 2016 in Reus (Spain).
With a duration of forty minutes, it contains six dense songs, its theme is inspired by human behavior in relation to different elements and factors: nature and its destruction, fear, greed, evil and spirituality, all based on stories that have to do with Catalan mythology.
Their influences range from Windhand, Electric Wizard and Acid King to Elder or Cult of Luna and, of course, Black Sabbath, mixing density, groove and melancholic melodies.
